The DEMATHIEU BARD Group, a major player in the construction and real estate industry, announced today that it was to acquire Steiner Construction SA from Steiner AG, the Swiss real estate developer.
This acquisition represents a significant strategic milestone in DEMATHIEU BARD’s international expansion. Indeed, it enables DEMATHIEU BARD to expand its services and expertise in Switzerland, a country where the Group did not previously operate, by capitalizing on the renowned excellence of Steiner Construction SA in the construction market and its 100-year history in the country.
The acquisition increases the DEMATHIEU BARD Group’s total revenue to around €2.1 billion, boosts the share of operations conducted outside France to 33% and expands the total workforce to over 4,000 people across six countries.
It bolsters the DEMATHIEU BARD Group’s positioning outside France, as standards and building practices in the Swiss construction market integrate sustainable construction principles, a key focus for DEMATHIEU BARD. This will create value generating synergies for all concerned.
