In celebration of International Francophonie Day, let’s take a look back at the Maison des étudiants de la francophonie project.
A few days ago, the French Secretary of State for Tourism, French Nationals Abroad and Francophonie Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne visited the Maison des étudiants de la francophonie at the International University Campus in Paris (CIUP), a project delivered by DEMATHIEU BARD IMMOBILIER and built by DEMATHIEU BARD CONSTRUCTION.
This new residence provides 300 student accommodation units and will strengthen academic and scientific cooperation with French-speaking countries. In March 2018, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the residence would be built as part of his plan to raise the profile of the French‑speaking world. After the International University Campus entrusted DEMATHIEU BARD IMMOBILIER with the project in April 2018, the first stone of the Maison des étudiants de la francophonie was laid in March 2019 and students moved into the residence in December 2020.
DEMATHIEU BARD IMMOBILIER won the Pyramide de Vermeil prize for Responsible Conduct of Operations in the 2019 Pyramides d’Or competition It recognize the commitment shown by stakeholders, whose responsible conduct during the real estate development project centered around sustainable development.
