First municipal public-private partnership initiated in Luxembourg
With a covered surface area of approximately 10,000 m², the Aquasud complex comprises six pools in addition to the renovated existing open-air pool. It also includes a fitness and wellness complex (spa), one 60 m and one 70 m slide, along with numerous outdoor sports facilities.
The pools are in stainless steel.

CONSTRUCTION METHOD

The roof frame is made entirely in wood and consists of 13 glulam beams, each weighing 9 metric tons, with a span of 37 ml. The roofing is made with hollow-core slabs in wood, along with a Lignatur system that integrates acoustic elements to reduce the reverberation of ambient noise.
The roof is entirely covered in vegetation to reduce heat loss and meet sustainable development standards.
