RECONSTRUCTION WORK ON THE VIVES-EAUX DAM

Démolition du barrage existant et création d’un bâtiment de contrôle sur le cours de la Seine.

CONSTRUCTION METHOD

  • • Drawdown using well points
  • • Creation of immersed concrete structures (colloidal concrete)
  • • Complex miscellaneous casing work on pontoons
  • • Creation of casings on piers supporting river flap gates
  • • Handling and assembly of flap gates
  • • Handling of heavy precast river structures, footbridge piers (30 metric tons)
  • • Creation of a fishway with resting pools and downstream passage for eels
  • • Creation of maintenance structures for upstream and downstream cofferdams for the temporary closure of the various gate systems (dam and fishway) for maintenance

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • • Immersed concrete structures
  • • Use of divers for underwater civil engineering work
  • • Concreting using a stationary pump and concrete placing boom
  • • Reinforcement works using DYWI drill bars (hydrostatic pressure relief of raft)
